Decorative Corinthian column
The Corinthian style is one of the three styles of ancient Greek architecture and is the later of them. The columns are characterized by a capital consisting of a high echinus ("basket") and the abacus. The "basket" is surrounded by one or two rows of thorn leaves (see Wikisource) and propellers that grow through them. Four of these helices, the tallest, terminate and at the same time support the four corners of the "abacus" [1]. The Corinthian rhythm can well be considered as an evolution of the Ionian because of these helices. This rhythm is the most decorative of the three and was used mainly in Roman times with a variety of forms.
Cast natural crushed greek marble products are made from a composite material in which natural stone is mixed with a small quantity of resin that works as a glue.
The mixture is then poured into a mold of the statue design. Because the powder is so fine the smallest details can be reproduced using this method.
Over 90% of the finished sculpture is natural crushed Greek stone, which gives it a look and feel of solid natural marble.
All sculptures are finished by hand to ensure the finest quality.
